Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes: Settles Rift

Pop Star Sarah Geronimo says sorry to sexy star Christine Reyes at ASAP backstage, March 20, 2011. “Miss Cristine, bati na tayo,” emotional Sarah shares. Later that day Sarah guested on ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show, "The Buzz" and shared details how did it happen.

According to Sarah, her make up artist (also Christine's make up artist) left an eye liner in the make up room. She was on the way to bring it when she saw Christine heading her way. “So nagtinginan kami. Parang umiwas pa siya,” says Sarah. “Siyempre may takot din sa akin. Tatanggapin kaya niya? Masasaktan kaya ako? Ano kaya ang mangyayari? So niyakap ko na lang siya, hindi ko na siya pinakawalan. Sabi ko Cristine wala talaga akong intensyon (na makasakit)…”

She then explained about her joke during the ASAP rehearsals that made Cristine tweeted harsh words which eventually made it known that those tweets were for the PopStar.  “Yung biro ko sa stage na ‘yon nung rehearsal, sine-set ko lang ‘yung mood na okay na tayo Ray (Rayver), ah. Tsaka ‘yung joke ko na ‘yon kay John (Prats) din ‘yon at Rayver ‘yung magagaling na sumayaw lapitin talaga ng magagandang at seksing babae, wala akong ibang ibig sabihin non at ‘yun ang gustong-gusto kong ipaliwanag kay Cristine.”

Now, a lot of people has been speculating that Sarah was not really sincere and that she did that for a show considering her upcoming Movie "Catch Me, I'm In Love" with Gerald Anderson.

Personally, I don't think having rift with Cristine Reyes would hurt the revenue of the movie since Sarah and Gerald have proven their worth already as actors. Sarah has been a box office queen twice on her movie with John Lloyd Cruz. And Gerald is a good actor on both TV and  movie. So I believed that Sarah was sincere. I think she has a good-natured dispositions in life. She doesn't like to hold grudge or something to that effect to anyone.
