Personalized License Plates

I was screaming mad when I learned that hubby put my "favorite" nickname in my car's license plate. One reason why I did not like it, is because it costs us more money compared to getting ordinary license plate. It doesn't cost us a fortune though but it is still money you know.

But after I have seen cars with personalized license plate in them, I somehow mellowed down. I should be happy of my husband's thoughtfulness. And there is no reason to get mad at all.

One of my Pinay friends, Ann, just bought a new car and she is planning to have her license plate named either, "PINAYAKO" or "PINAYME". I said, "I think, PINAYME is cool" :) Whatjayathink?

Anyway, another reason why I did not like my name in the plate is because I will be recognized easily, but I was thinking, as long as I do not make any violation, I will be fine.

Have You Ever Tried Eyebrow Threading Before?

That's my pretty grand daughter :)

Eyebrow threading is a different method of hair removal which is originated from India using thread.

My first experience was kinda embarrassing because my eyes were watering and my nose was running while the Indian girl was skillfully doing her job. Oh, I'm telling you guys, my mind was screaming and I wanted to kick the girl that time, hahaha! In fact, I almost peed in my panty, hahaha! It was really very painful! But I was impressed and satisfied with the result. My eyebrows came out more defined and prettier. I paid $12.00. Not bad.

It was my friend Rowena who introduced it to me but she did not tell me how painful it is for first timers so I kinda blamed her afterwards, hehehe! I thought I wouldn't do it ever again but I have done it several times already since then. 

I like eyebrow threading better than waxing and plucking but the problem is, there is no one offering this kind of service to where I live. Yup, because I live in the middle of nowhere. So I could only enjoy this thing when hubby and I go to Reno which happens every, err.. once in a blue moon? The last time I had my eyebrow done was when hubby's grand daughter (in the photo above) was with us and that was many months ago. Bummer, huh?

Blogging Again!

I have been away from blogging for more than 3 months! Whew! I'm so glad to be back!

How's everyone? I hope everyone is well and good like me :) 

There is not much going on with me right now but I had a wonderful time with my kids for 2 months when they came to US while school is out for summer in the Philippines. It was indeed wonderful to be with them after almost two years of not seeing them.

Anyhow, I have so many things to share here and I am already excited!
