Movie: The Expendables

My daughter and I were too excited to watch this movie last night that we did not realize we came to the wrong theater, haha! We've been sitting inside for 15 minutes watching trailers of upcoming movies, waiting for the "Now Showing" to be played. When the featured movie had been played, we noticed that it's not the movie that we wanted to watch. We ran towards the door laughing and headed to the other theater which is just right next to the Popcorn Station. What a shame! I felt so stupid that time :D

Anyhow, "The Expendables" is an action movie that has some funny lines as well. The actors are "big timers". But I noticed that Sylvester Stallone is "aged" already. The signs are his wrinkled and saggy face that kind of bothering me while watching. Well, of course, everyone gets old, who does not?  But In fairness, he's still as amazing as his Rambo days! Among him, Jet Li and Jason Statham, I so like the latter. I am his avid fan. And if you are a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis, you'd get to see them in one of the scenes :D Isn't that cool?

If you want hard action with a little bit of humor, watch this movie :D

Movie: SALT

I had a great time with Jen at the movie house last week watching "SALT". It was kind of a mom and daughter bonding moment. Funny, as usual, we got 1 adult and 1 child tickets :D For the record, Jen is already 20 years old. I like it when people think she is only 12 years old because that means... I am still young, lol!

Anyway, SALT is such a "major major ASTIG"  movie! "Astig" in the sense that the lead star is a woman and not just an ordinary woman, it's no less than Angelina Jolie herself. It has lots of action. The stunts of Ms. Jolie are heartpounding! I felt sorry for her when her husband was shot in front of her and she had to appear like she is not affected at all although her heart was tearing apart that very moment. I had tears on that scene.

I so like the twists of the story. A must-see film.

I have read somewhere that this movie was first offered to Tom Cruise as Edwin Salt but he was too occupied to shoot for this movie. It's good that he didn't take it. Angelina Jolie portrays Evelyn Salt so perfectly anyway.

Finale words of the movie, "Go get him!"  I smell a Part II...

Hmm. We'll see.

Lake Tahoe Family Trip

Lake Tahoe is breathtakingly beautiful!

It was my second time to visit the place. The first time was when I watched "Wowowee" Live at Harrah's and Harvey's Arena. I didn't have photos taken that time because my companions were not interested to take one neither I :D

By the way, Lake Tahoe straddles two states. Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Lake Tahoe, California. It is amazing that the boundary of these two States in South Lake Tahoe where Wowowee was held is the "Traffic Light". I bet you are confused now. I am too. The truth is, I am poor in sense of directions. I'd suggest to refer it to Mr. Google :D

If you love nature watching, fishing, boating, swimming, parasailing, sailing, waterbiking, gambling, shopping and camping (beware of bears) during summer, this place is the best for you. If you would like to go skiing and snow boarding during winter, this place is also the best for you.

Truly, Lake Tahoe is one of the best places I have ever been in my entire life.
