Lake Tahoe Family Trip

Lake Tahoe is breathtakingly beautiful!

It was my second time to visit the place. The first time was when I watched "Wowowee" Live at Harrah's and Harvey's Arena. I didn't have photos taken that time because my companions were not interested to take one neither I :D

By the way, Lake Tahoe straddles two states. Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Lake Tahoe, California. It is amazing that the boundary of these two States in South Lake Tahoe where Wowowee was held is the "Traffic Light". I bet you are confused now. I am too. The truth is, I am poor in sense of directions. I'd suggest to refer it to Mr. Google :D

If you love nature watching, fishing, boating, swimming, parasailing, sailing, waterbiking, gambling, shopping and camping (beware of bears) during summer, this place is the best for you. If you would like to go skiing and snow boarding during winter, this place is also the best for you.

Truly, Lake Tahoe is one of the best places I have ever been in my entire life.

Maria Venus Bayonito Raj: A Filipino Pride

Congratulations to our very own Ms.Venus Raj for bringing the Philippines into the limelight in the recently concluded Ms. Universe 2010 Pageant! We are so proud of you!

Amidst the "after-shock" of the terrible Hostage-drama happened in the country the day before the Pageant, Ms. Philippines made it to the Top 5 among 83 equally-Beauty and Brains candidates of the Most Prestigious Pageant in the whole world. Thanks to Maria Venus Bayonito Raj for bringing such pride.

I have been following her online from the very start and being the early favorite worldwide is already something! Alas! Many people have criticized her answer during the Q & A portion. For their information, it's not easy to be in front of the crowd. I should know because I have experienced the same when I joined the Search for Ms. Campus Personality back in High School. I had inexplicable feelings that time, how much more on Ms. Raj's case! Come on people, let's take it positively and let's be happy for her and for our country. She did her best and she did a good job!
