I Joined Avon's Race to 125,000 Kisses Walk

The Logo: Pink ribbons are seen everywhere

A short program was conducted before the walk

Participants. Kinda bored already.

Carol with her friends.

Carol is ready to get set and go :)

Haggard-looking me.

Fast walkers. We are behind them.

Carol has walked 3km already!

In a water station. Nice posing girl :)

Done! We got fans after the walk :)

Proud me :)

During my recent trip to the Philippines to visit my teeners and my loved ones, my cousin Carol, who is an Avon Manager, invited me to join Avon's Race to 125,000 Kisses Walk held last October 2, 2011, at the SM Parking Area, Ecoland, Davao City. By buying the Avon T-shirt, I was able to help breast cancer patients.

I only had few hours of sleep the night before so it was really very tiring yet very fulfilling.

Looking forward to joining the same cause here in US.

Thanks for visiting my site.

Have a good one!

Blank Post-It

Yep, it's blank

Just like my mind right now. It's blank.

I want to write something but I can't think of that something.

I am wondering if  it is a sign of ... PMSing?

Oh boy, but I am only 39!

Whatever it is, I hope it is only temporary, lol!

Have a good one!

My First DIY Underarm Wax

I've been looking for an underarm hair remover that is very handy and affordable since I quit shaving. Going to the beauty salon costs me a lot so I bought Sally Hansen Remover Strip Kit  to save some bucks.

I was like, "Ouch!" Well, that was expected though, hehehe! There were still few hair left behind so I plucked them.

The package says:
Nothing works quicker or lasts longer.
Three simple steps; pre-waxed, pre-cut strips. Removes even stubborn hair for up to 8 weeks.
    • No microwave, no mess
    • Regrowth is less noticeable
    • Salon and dermatologist tested.
Contains:
    • 30 Wax Strips Total (15 Double-Sided)
    • Azulene finishing oil 0.5 fl. oz.
Made in USA
  • Procedure:
  1. Warm strip in hands
  2. Separate double-sided strips
  3. Press on, pull off
  4. Pat it with the finishing oil afterwards

So far so good. We'll see what's gonna happen in the next few days.

Have a good one!

Brisk Walking with Friends Today

My neighbor's kiddos
Crab Apple Tree
Gorgeous!
I don't know what kind of plant is this
Another apple tree with Yuny
Red Apples
Another Red apple tree with Yuny
Green Apple Tree
More apple trees! (green and red)
Small but fruitful :)

My friends Emy, Yuny and Pinky

Pretty!

Yep, it's obvious that we went out for walking not for picture taking, hehehe! Well, the beauty of the surroundings is such irresistible. Can't stop clicking the camera on my cellphone :)

Seriously, it's nice to go walking at this time of the season because the weather is cool. And I get to see different fruit bearing trees especially apple trees along the way. I remember when we passed by at a big house with apple orchard, I smelled something very pleasing... a scent of an apple. Yummy smell. Mm-mm.

Looking forward to walking again tomorrow.

Have a good one!

The Best Internal Medicine Physician in Davao City, Philippines

****I would like to inform everyone that this is not a paid post. Thank you.****

I pigged out while I was in the Philippines last month.

I chomped everything edible that came my way.

Unfortunately, my body did not like it. My mother had noticed it one morning that my legs and arms were swollen. I didn't even feel it until I couldn't put on my pants anymore. It really scared the hell out of me!

After I had my blood, urine and other kind of tests in Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai Clinic (through the help of my sister in-law Helen), my cousin Carol and I went to San Pedro Hospital to look for a doctor who specializes Internal Medicine for a thorough check-up and to explain the tests results to me. We found a lady doctor but I was not satisfied with what she had done to me and what she had told me. She recommended to do more tests which she did not elaborate why.

Needless to say, I went to another doctor for a "second opinion", kind of. Carol took me to the Community Health and Development Cooperative (CHDC) Hospital. The hospital building was not impressive to me but I trust my cousin's judgement so I went ahead. The women's restroom was squeaky clean (hats off to the person who does the cleaning.)

Anyway, the lady in the information window sent us to (if my mind serves me right) Room 222 to see my doctor. Dr. Cecilia M. Cayudong-Fuentes is the name of my Internist. She checked on me the same way my doctor here in US does to me. She recommended more tests like Ultrasound on my abdomen and another urine test for her to determine what else she could find and to determine what kind of medicine she is going to prescribe with matching explanation why I had to do this and do that. I obeyed.

The following day, I went back to her clinic with the Ultrasound and urine tests results on hand. She explained the results in a very detailed manner. There is nothing that can be missed because she explained everything very clearly. Then we chitchatted for a while. I asked if we could pose for a souvenir and she agreed, so Carol took us some pictures but unluckily, the SD Card of my cellphone got damaged so all photos has been deleted.

In case you need an Internist or Internal Medicine Doctor in Davao City, look for Dr. Cecilia C. Fuentes and if you don't mind, please mention this blog for me, okay? Thank you much!

I Can't Stop Crying

No. It's not what you think. I'm perfectly fine :)

It's just that I am watching the old movie "Pretty Woman" right now, starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts and I can't stop crying! Crazy me.

I have watched this movie for I think 5 times already but I just love to watch it over and over again. I shed tears all those times like it was my first time watching it. Crying while watching drama movie or reading a good romance book is really my weakness. I'm easily get carried away. And I hate it.

Silly me.

Crazy me.

Going Home

Philippine Airlines- The Asia's First Shining Through

I would like to dedicate this post to my friend Jenelyn because she is my number one reader, char! Like me, she's been away from the Philippines for a couple of years already so I thought she might find this post interesting.

After I quit my graveyard-shift job of more than two years, hubby bought tickets for me to visit our teenagers, I mean, twenty-agers.. to my beloved country, the PHILIPPINES!

I took the Philippine Airlines' Las Vegas-Manila-Davao flight with one stop-over in Vancouver, Canada. Hubby chose Las Vegas as my exit airport because the traffic is not bad, hotels are cheap and the parking area is free unlike Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.  I passed the security lane without hassle unlike my previous trip two years ago. Thank God.

While I was in Las Vegas airport I have talked to I think 5 Filipinos who were equally excited as me. Kinda weird to me because they were coming home to attend a wedding. Yup, all of them. Happy to know that they are coming home for a happy event, because you know, sometimes people had to come home to attend a burial or somebody in the family is very sick, something like that, right? And  also, they were all graveyard workers except the guy who seated next to me. I salute them for their endurance. I knew how hard it is to work graveyard shift.

By the way, the guy I mentioned was a businessman and I learned that he is the Biggest Loser  (Philippines) Gym Instructor Chinggay Andrada's hubby. He looked plain and simple to me. Actually, all Pinays that I have met there just dressed plain and simple, like me :)

I left Las Vegas September 6, 2011 and I safely landed an hour earlier  in Manila on September 8,2011 then waited for 6 hours for my Davao flight. By God's grace, I arrived in Davao around 10:50 in the morning, threw myself in a cab and gave the address to the driver where to go. I did not tell my kids I was coming to surprise them, as per hubby's suggestion.

And my teeners got surprised indeed :)

It was such a safe and smooth flight. Thank you God!

More posts coming re: Philippine Trip

Have a good one!

Drinking Red Wine at Dawn

I've been doing this "practice" of drinking red wine early in the morning between 2:00am-3:00am since I got back from the Philippines, to help me get more zzzzzs. I go to bed around 10:00pm but I get awake around 2:00am and can't go back to sleep anymore. Sigh.

I have tried different stroke to get me back to bed but to no avail. Until I tried drinking red wine which put myself kind of "drunk" but eventually put myself back to bed anyway. This really is driving me crazy. Hubby started calling me "Red Wine drinker-wife". I bet if I don't quit doing so, he might call me "drunken wife" in the near future. Ouch!

In fairness to myself, I looked it up online the benefits of drinking red wine and this is what I have found. (Thanks to 4abettalife.com)

*Red wine has anti-oxidant properties
*It helps with cancer prevention
*It promotes heart health
*It helps regulate cholesterol level
*It promotes digestion.
*It helps with weight loss
*It promotes better SLEEP

I so like the last benefit! Hehehe!

For the record, I only drink half a glass of red wine every morning. I don't know why it hits me up too bad that would make me feel like the world is revolving around my head literally. Gosh!

Hansen Resort in Lake Tahoe: My Experience and My Review

My teenagers wanted to try snow skiing in Lake Tahoe but it is kind of  a technical  activity so they resorted to sledding/tubing instead. We found a site online that provides tubes and that allows tubing all day long for free if you stay in the resort  but with a minimum stay of two nights. Tubing is just like sledding so hubby thought it's a nice idea to stay there.

The resort has cabins of various sizes. We chose Cabin 2 which is good for four people. It has a wood paneling. It has one bedroom with a regular size of bed which has kind of  quaint throw pillows and  comforter on it. It has one couch bed that needs attention because a wheel came out of it slot (hubby and my son fixed it) but the pillows, blanket and comforter are not that bad though. It has one bathroom which is neat and clean. The sink and the toilet are both new and so are the towels which are neatly arranged.  It has a fireplace but there was no log to be used so we didn't know if it works or not. It also has a small kitchen which we didn't use. It has a small TV with limited channels. The floor squeaked when hubby walks but we only laughed it off. We paid $120.00 each night for a total of $240.00 plus tax for two nights.

The tubing experience was unforgettable! There was not much snow so we didn't buy snow boots  for tubing. My teenagers and I had so much fun trying different ways to tube.  At first I thought I was going to crash but it was  just all from my silly mind. I stuck in the middle of the tubing run twice because my scarf touched to  the ground or snow which is not advisable but it was not scary at all. But going back up to the top was very exhausting so hubby thought to pick us up down the hill and give us ride from there back to the top. People thought we were smart for doing that!

All set and ready!

next in line =)

Lazy tubers =)

I recommend this place for tubing. I've already given you the pros and cons about the cabin so it's up to you if you choose to stay here or not. Hubby likes it here though because it is secluded and quiet. All in all, our stay was okay.

TOEFL and Others

Have a fabulous and blessed New Year to all of us!

It's been like forever since my last visit on this virtual space of mine. I have been into  lots of  things lately. I study for an upcoming TOEFL Test. I read self-help books if bored and tired. I try to catch some Zzzzs to stay awake at work. I play Farmville again, and so on and so forth. In short, I am a very busy woman now, lol!

Okay, you might ask me what is this TOEFL Test I mentioned above. TOEFL means Test of English as a Foreign Language. I am planning to study online in a university and to pass this test is one of the requirements before admission because English is not my native language. The good side of this test is that , it doesn't involve mathematics which I hated most. The bad side is, I have to pass 80% out of 100. It consists of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing skills. I paid $170.00 for the IBT or Internet-based test. Pretty interesting ha?

I need to study to pass the said test so I borrowed books from the community Library here, watched YouTube videos online and I also bought books and audio CD for speaking and writing from Amazon.com.

I have new year's wishes or in old school we call it "resolutions" so I read self-help books to get motivated and inspired. I am hoping it helps!

While in bed trying to sleep, I watch TFC or The Filipino Channel to keep myself abreast on what is going on in the Philippines.

And if I get burnout, I check my farm on Farmville. My kids asked me why I resumed on playing wherein I already decided to quit in fact I posted it here on my blog  last year entitled "Goodbye Farmville", I told them, "Just remember goodbye doesn't mean forever", nyahaha! They replied, "That's a song Ma!" Oh,whatever =)

So this has been my life now a days, chaar!

Catch you later guys, mwah!

My Christmas (2010)

I thought it was only yesterday when I posted something about Jasmine Curtis-Smith. I am so behind! What a lazy, lazy me!

Well, another Christmas holiday had passed by. It was my third Christmas away from the Philippines. The past two years was just a "so so" because my kids were not here. This year was a great one because my family was complete. Hubby and I got days off on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (unlike in the past two years) so we got to spend this special occasion with our teeners.

We didn't wrap gift. It was a mutual understanding that we would just buy whatever we want to buy for ourselves for Christmas. Hubby decided to buy an engine and transmission for his ancient Chevy Van which costs him a fortune (lol!). I bought lots of stuff online from Coach, American Eagle, Victoria's Secrets. I also bought something from Crocs and Guess. My daughter bought stuff from Aeropostale, Converse and Forever21. On the other hand, my son got stuff from Levi's, Aeropostale and also from Converse.

It was my first time to buy  lots of stuff online for myself. My daughter said I deserved them. She was the one who suggested to also buy things for myself because I always prioritize my family and relatives back home. When I was still in the Philippines, I spent mostly of my Christmas Bonus to my loved ones including my extended family and I am still doing the same thing sans Christmas Bonus from my employer because we don't have such a thing here.

Anyway, I spent more than 10 hours video chatting with my family back home last Christmas day. I was able to see my mother, sisters, Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, neighbors, etc. via Yahoo Messenger video chat. They were hosting an annual Children's party at that time held at the front yard of my parents' home and everyone came except my brother and his wife because they attended another important event in Digos City. While watching the party in a real time, it was like we were also there. It was really cool!

As Christmas presents, I sent some goodies to my friends and I got some presents from them too.

All in all, my Christmas was a BLAST!

Inconstant Me

I've been making changes in all kinds on my blog lately. For many times I have changed the titles of my posts, my blog description, profile photo, settings, colors, to name a few.

The latest that I've changed is my blog template. I thought I did not like pink or any pinkish shades because these colors represent femininity. There is nothing bad with these colors though but it 's just that pink doesn't fit my strong personality.

But  as I was browsing different kinds of template, this is the only template that captured my taste, maybe at this moment only, who knows what I'm going to like in next ticking of the clock :D

I so love this new appearance. I hope you'll like it too. Constructive comments are welcome!
Have a nice Monday Philippines!

Senti Mood Part II

"Hero" by no less than Enrique Iglesias.

This song soothes and touches my inner feelings. The hotness of the singer is a BONUS! I wish to see him live in a concert. Just me and my wishful thinking.

Anyways, while watching this video, I remember the one and only person whom I can say, my HERO. He makes my kid's life and my life worth living for.

So who is your HERO?

Ooops, to answer the question: my hero is my HUBBY!

And yours?

Senti Mood Part I

I am in senti mood today. Maybe I am just tired or maybe it is just me. I am reminiscing my fave songs and I want to share them with you.

I go Crazy- I've heard this song a few times back in the Philippines and I've been looking for this since then. I didn't know that it's an old song until I stumbled upon this video. It is obvious on their outfits and the reception of the video itself, hehe! This song was a hit in the '70s. Hmm.. my birth year!

I  like this song very much. It somehow awaken me of something from the past, haha! Drama. Whatever.

How about you dear readers, when was the last time you'd  felt senti or "emu" (emotional)? What did you do? I bet some of you just watched romantic flicks, or just  listened to your fave love songs, or constructed a poem, wrote a story or maybe you just stayed in bed the whole day while staring at the wall or while reading tear-jerking book like "Tuesdays with Morrie?"  Which one?

Well, it's just one of those days. One thing  for sure, we'll get over it eventually if not soon.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

I have a Dream..

I love Designer purses. I bet 99% of women do.

"This is my dream purse, haha!" as the writing goes in my clipping :)  When I searched it online, my reaction was "OMG!" So I told myself, "Never mind."
It's not my priority at this time. It can wait.

Instead, I posted it in the right side of the wall of our room for me to take a glimpse of it every now and then. And it somehow makes me smile. I know deep in my heart that it will remain a dream forever. As the song goes "All I have to do is dream. Dream, dream, dream... "

My Other Eyes

They are cheap glasses but I so love wearing them. My initial plan was to use them when I am only driving but the first time I had them on, they perfectly changed my vision! I can see very clearly now. And hubby joked that I look like an old Librarian, whatever :) Librarians deal with books, that's fine with me, I love books anyway.

I had eyeglasses when I arrived here from the Philippines but my vision was not that good as what I am having now. I also had eyeglasses when I was a grade schooler but I can't remember how was my vision back then.

I feel I have been deprived of this perfect vision for almost 40 years, gosh! However, only one of my eyes is having a perfect vision now. My other eye is... never mind!

But I am happy with them though :)

Thank you to my eye doctor, Dr. Fanny Chan.

A Day at a Spa

My thoughtful and generous American friend Brenda gave me a Spa Gift Certificate of one of the local beauty salons here during my birthday. It took 5 months before I called for an appointment (the certificate has to expire in March).

The place was kind of small but nice. I was ushered to a small but cozy room. It was clean and neat. It has a reclining bed with white sheets, a kind of a white blanket, a white gown and a registration paper with pen in it. An instrumental music was played. The attendant told me to get myself comfortable, fill-out the first page of the registration form, take off my upper outfit, and to put on the white robe. I saw a sign "Dermalogica" in the upper part of the wall. I thought it was the brand of the facial products to be used. I was right.

She asked me quite a few questions about my skin. But the first question was, “Are you an Indian?” Ahem.
Anyways, some of the questions were :

Do you have skin allergy?
Do you have sinusitis?
Are you taking medicines or vitamins at this time?
Do you have some kind of a metal in your body?
Have you underwent into cosmetic surgery?
Is your tolerance high, low or medium?
Are you suffering from stress?
How often do you get pimples?

After I answered all questions, she checked my skin thoroughly using a kind of microscopic thing. Then she recommended a Deep Pore Cleansing Treatment to purify my skin and pores, and to encourage cell regeneration, something to that effect.

Firstly, she put some ylang-ylang oil on my arms, on my palms and on my fingers then massages them lightly. Afterwards, she put on plastic cellophane on my hands and put them inside a warm rubber thingy which I can’t describe, to keep my hands warm.

Secondly, she put some massaging oil on my décolleté, which is a part of body from the shoulder to the chest and to the neck and massage them. It felt really good and relaxing. In the Philippines, I only get massage on my face alone. Maybe they will charge more if they will include the décolleté. Whatever.

Thirdly, she started to massage my face, put some creams I didn’t get to see because my eyes were covered but I like their smell though. I had forty winks so I didn’t know what else she put in my face. I was back to the world when she began to touch my blackheads and whiteheads. It was painful but tolerable.

Lastly, it felt so soothing and calming when she put warm cloth on my face twice to take off the creams and other stuff that she put on my face and when she took the warm rubber off my hands.

I felt so perfectly rejuvenated and stressed-free afterwards.

Thanks Brenda!

American Football Mania!

Football game is famous here in the United States. The Americans are crazy as much as Filipinos do with Basketball. There are three major forms in this sport but for me, the Professional football which is handled by NFL is the most popular.

The football season starts during fall and ends by the second week of February. In the hotel where I work, there are five huge TV screens for customer’s viewing and of course you have to order drinks or foods or you have to bet for your favorite team for you to get a seat and be there early or else you will end up standing.

I started to get interested with this stuff when one day, hubby asked for a clean old cloth or towel to be used after he is done washing his dear sister’s car. I found a kind of an old towel with red prints from our closet and I gave it to him. I was surprised to his reaction when he saw what I just handed to him. His reaction was, “Oh my God Mahal, not this towel please! And I was like, “Hello, you wanted an old towel and this is the only one I’ve got, what’s the fuss?” My sister-in-law was laughing. She said that the towel has a sentimental value for my husband because it has “Redskins” printed on it. And my reaction was, “Okay fine, whatever…” I found out that Redskins is the name of the football team of Washington State. Later on, I learned that my good friend Brenda and her husband, Steve are fans of Cowboys, the team of Texas. Redskins and Cowboys are always playing against each other so every time Redskins lost the game or the other way, hubby has always something to say to Brenda. Last Christmas 2008, Brenda gave my hubby a Cowboys sticker for his car but he never used it. Brenda just laughed about it, she knew that my husband won’t use it, she was only teasing him.

I was hired in the middle of the football season the other year so I eventually learned the different teams such as Vikings- is the team of Minnesota State, Jets and Giants teams are both from New York, Saints is New Orleans’s team, Colts is from Indianapolis’s State, among others. Since employees in my workplace are allowed to wear football jerseys to support their teams during Sundays and Mondays, I was able to learn their favorite teams. And I noticed that mostly are Cowboy’s fans.

Last Christmas, I gave fleece blanket to hubby, Redskins fleece  as my Christmas present and he was so happy. He wanted to use it as a décor in the living room and I said “No” because I’d rather put it in our car to warm us incase of emergency during our future travel especially during winter time.

Anyways, I was kind of shocked at the desk to see the incoming casino cashier bringing a purple- colored funeral wreath with her. The first thing that came up on my mind was that someone, perhaps her lady boss’s family member passed away (knock on wood). But she looked happy though when she approached me and requested to hide the wreath because her boss is not coming until 8:00am at it was still 6:00am. It says in the wreath “RIP Cowboys”. And I said “Holy Cow!” Ha-ha! Then after a while I saw the vault cashier wearing a striking violet-colored blouse, I bet she was going to tease her boss too, haha! When the Cowboys lost, hubby was imagining the reaction of the fans while watching the game. He said that they have always been too loud and ecstatic every time they cheered to their team.

Well, the final game or they call it “Superbowl” is fast approaching. Good luck to the remaining teams!

Olive Garden Experience!

This post has already been posted to my other blogsite which I discontinued. I just reposted it here.

Olive Garden is an Italian Restaurant. Well, it is my hubby’s most favorite restaurant ever. Whenever we go to Reno, we always plan to go there but we always end up eating in Manila Hongkong Kitchenette because they served Filipino foods there.

Hubby, my teenagers and I went to Reno last Tuesday and we stayed there overnight so we had plenty of time to go anywhere we want to. We lunched out in Manila Hongkong Kitchenette and we dined out in Olive Garden Restaurant.

We hardly got a parking space when we arrived there. There were so many people in the lobby patiently waiting for their turn to be accommodated. Hubby assured me that the foods there are worth the wait. Hmmm. Whatever. When we got inside the building, someone standing in the front greeted us and ask hubby’s name and then gave us a round pager that blinks and vibrates when they are ready to accommodate us. What a fancy pager, huh? We don’t have like that in the Philippines. Anyway, we stayed in the lobby and waited for 20 minutes.

When the pager blinked and vibrated, we went inside. Somebody took us to a vacant table. A waiter named Bill introduced himself and served us a bowl of fresh green salad and freshly baked bread sticks. Wow… I was really drooling that time. Then he introduced the Wine of the Night and asked us if we would want to try it. Free. We declined. He gave us the Menu. I ordered raspberry lemonade for my drink. Hubby and my teenagers ordered soda for their drinks. We ordered chicken flat bread as appetizer. I ordered Chicken Marsala. Hubby ordered Tour of Italy. Jen wanted Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine, Jun ordered Stuffed Chicken Marsala. The appetizer was served right away.

While munching the fresh salad and eating the bread sticks and the chicken flat bread, my eyes wandered around. There were different kinds of bottled wine properly displayed in the corner. The waiters wore white long sleeved shirt with necktie paired with black dress pants. They were very pleasant to all customers and they knew their job pretty well. They seemed well trained. And the customers looked happy and contended with the foods and the service.

When the main dish was served, wow, we ate like there was no tomorrow! I love the grilled potatoes and grilled green and red bell pepper in my Chicken Marsala. Hubby noticed that Jen ate allot too! Jun loved his foods and he ate with serious manner. Hubby enjoyed his choice. He had fettuccini, special lasagna and chicken with fresh Parmesan cheese grated at our table in his Tour of Italy dish.

For the first time, we really enjoyed all the foods that we ordered! I almost forgot to mention that we ordered Black Tie Mousse Cake for our dessert. But we were too full so we took it as "to go" or "take out".

Finally, Bill gave us choco mint to complement our meal. Hubby gave him a big tip.

We were all happy when we left the place. We had a sumptuous meal and we got excellent service! I rated them 9.99 in a scale of 1-10 but hubby said to make it a perfect 10 instead, I agreed.

It was such a nice experience!

Drugged-up!

I have been working graveyard for a year and I have never had to have a "wake-up" call from the hotel, until last night. Whew, that was so embarassing!

I work 5 nights a week. During my first 3 months, everything was okey. I go to bed right after I got off work. The following months, I started to have difficulty to fall asleep so I took sleeping pills. At first I tried Melatonin but it didn't work for me so I tried the other kind of sleeping pills, the generic one and it worked. Since I am aware that taking sleeping pills is not good, as much as possible I refrain from taking them all the time. Everything was going smoothly.

The other day was different, I slept for 4 hours only and I hardly survived that night. God, I was sooo sleepy at work that made me a little crazy so I decided to take pills before I went to bed. Since I was out of pills, I bought another box and this time I tried the Tylenol Pm Simply Sleep. I took 2 caplets. I set my alarm then I hit the bed. It was around 11:00am. The next thing I knew, hubby who's enjoying his day off, woke me up, he was half- awake too, and he was telling me that my workmate Melinda just called asking about me. And my reaction was, "WHAAAAT?" Then I looked at the clock, it was 11:06pm already. I was like lightning, jolted from the bed and called the hotel to say that I'll be right there. I washed and dressed up. I grabbed my toothpaste and toothbrush and went off. When I got at the hotel, I was 22 minutes late. After the adrenalin rush, my body was trembling and my head was so heavy. I was still groggy. Wow, Tylenol PM really knocked me out! It cost me a mug of coffee before everything went ok. I brushed my teeth when I got my break, put some lipstick and I said, "Now, I am ready for work"! the hotel cashier said I was funny, hehehe!

Lesson learned. Next time I will only take 1 caplet. Hubby was sorry that he himself fell asleep in the couch. He said he was preparing spaghetti for my "baon" and he watched TV afterwards then fell asleep. It was not his fault of course. It was my fault, err.. my alarm clock's fault, I mean, Tylenol Pm's fault, whatever.
