My Kind of ODD Job

Whew, its been a long while since I posted my last blog.

Before I go further, I would like to greet everyone a Belated Happy New Year. I worked Christmas and New Year’s eve. Those were the worst days so far since my kids and I got here in the United States. Worst days in the sense that both special days just passed by simply like an ordinary days in the calendar.

Anyhow, let us now talk about my odd job. I say it’s an odd job for two reasons.

I am a people kind of person. I love to interact and to mingle with other people. I used to do social work back home. Truly, I love social work because it has always been my passion. But... I work as an Hotel Desk Auditor now. I feel embarrass to say this, but I admit that I am poor in Mathematics! I so hate numbers! In fact, my chosen degree is far from dealing with numbers! Grrr! There are times I feel funny about myself towards auditing. Whenever I am done, I would recheck my work over and over again to make it sure that I did it correctly. Sometimes I would stare at the numbers which really makes me smile afterwards, what on earth happened to me? I hate numbers but I am now working with them 8 hours a day 5 days a week! Gosh!

I am a sleepy headed person. A day person so to speak. And I couldn’t stand wide awake from midnight until morning. But... I work graveyard shift now. Yeah, as in graveyard… my workplace is like a graveyard when I do my auditing, anyway, hehehe! I could hear the sound of silence while trying to figure out the total debits and total credits JJJ. I clock in at 11:00 o'clock in the evening and clock out at 7:00 o'clock in the morning. I would sleep the whole morning and wide awake the whole night. In short, I belong to the twilight clan now, I would confess, I am the latest inpiration of Dracula, bwehehe!

It is indeed an odd job, isn’t it? Hmm..

But I started to embrace it and love it. I just took it as a challenge. I should have to because I have two smart kids to send to college. I started to condition myself to be in this job for 5 years. You betcha, 5 long years of being a vampire. I hope I can surviveJ .

So help me God.
